BBC Children in Need provides grants to projects in the UK which focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged. They are currently supporting 2,400 projects all across the UK. The Children in Need TV show airs on today across BBC1 and BBC2 from 7.30pm, and they will be aiming to beat the record-breaking £60.7 million raised during last year’s telethon.
