This week commemorates the D-Day 75th Anniversary. It’s reported that there were 10,000 casualties on D-Day alone and it’s estimated 70-85 million people perished in World War II. 130,000 Allied soldiers travelled by ship over the channel to the Normandy coast. D-Day commemorations will be held between 5-9th June this year for the 75th Anniversary.
